Day 13, 14 & 15- Wet Hands

DATE: Thursday March 10th

TIME: 12:29pm CST

LOCATION: New ORLEANS La

So I haven’t been good about the blog these last few days. Been getting very tired in the evenings. Here is a recap

We spent an entire day at the Pyramid which was very interesting, I got a nice compass which Im pretty excited about. We went to the bowling arena inside the store and bowled for a few hours (I won lol) then went up to the top of the Pyramid to the Lookout Bar. We got to spend some time on the observation deck and got some pics of Memphis. Very pretty but the deck shook a little bit with was concerning. For dinner I had some very fancy chicken tenders which were absolutely delicious.

We left the Pyramid on Tuesday and had a very long and uneventful drive down to New Orleans. It was really strange seeing the land around us change so dramatically, honestly the swamps surrounding New Orleans looked quite alien. It was a pretty rainy and nasty drive, but we got through

We had out first full day in New Orleans, another rainy nasty day. We got some Beignets in the morning, then walked around the city for a while. We tried to get into the aquarium but it was closed. We are currently 0/2 on aquariums. Maybe someday. We stopped at a Voodoo museum in the French district which was very interesting. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. After that I wasn’t feeling great so I went back to the hotel and relaxed the rest of the day while Deniz explored further. I got some local pizza which was very tasty.

Today we are going to take a bus tour and try to get on a boat tour of New Orleans. Its our first and only weather free day here so we will make the most of it.

Thats all for now, stay safe

Signing off
