The Shogunate
My PSEUDO job for the past 3 years
I started playing the elder scrolls online in 2016
Just before the release of The Thieves Guild DLC in March of 2016, my friends and I decided to make out first characters on The Elder Scrolls Online. We absolutely loved the game and it remains one of my favorite games to this day. As of writing this, I am only a handful of hours away from 5300 hours played.
In August of 2017 the game changed for me completely
I joined a guild called The Shogunate. Initially I joined to find a group to help me through Veteran Aetherian Archive, one of the game’s 12-player trials. But this guild quickly began to mean more to me than clears. It was the community I had always been looking for in this game. I found myself surrounded by kind and generous people who had the same passion for the game I did. After 2 weeks of being in The Shogunate, I applied for an officer position to teach new players dungeon mechanics. But that was only the beginning. Soon after I was promoted to junior officer, I was put in charge of the very Trial Raid team I had joined in the first place, along side my good friend “Ryne”. We led this team together for a year and a half until Ryne took a break to hike The Appalachian Trail. I continued to lead that team while he was taking his break. A few months after his return, I stepped down from team leadership and was promoted to Head of PvE for The Shogunate, overseeing all Player vs Environment events and teams. Now myself, our Guildmaster Jlaw, Co-Guildmaster and Zenimax Online Studio’s Class Rep RebornZombie, and Senior Manager TP continue to lead the guild into the future. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
